BMF’s ingredients are featured at SIAL 2018
Since Blue Macaw Flora invested in the market for private label products, consumers from different parts of the world have come to know the lines of 100%-natural fruit bits developed by the company.
In the 2018 edition of the International Food Show (SIAL), which took place at the Paris Nord Villepinte, in Paris, between October 21 and 25, visitors were introduced to the healthy products from Native Berries. The brand uses Blue Macaw Flora’s ingredients in its snacks.
Native Berries is one of Blue Macaw Flora’s customers who use the private label concept. In other words, they put their label into a product that is ready and packaged, produced in high quality and under strict quality standards.
With offices in São Paulo and in Florida, Native Berries markets its products in the states of Alabama, California, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Ohio.
During SIAL Paris, in the Brazil sector’s booth, the company presented its snacks developed with the ingredients of Blue Macaw Flora in three flavors: Acai with Chia; Acai, Passion Fruit and Chia; and a special mix version of Acai, Cupuacu and Banana with Chia and Cinnamon, exclusively produced for the client.
BMF’s fruit bits are spreading around the world
In addition to the United States and Brazil, Blue Macaw Flora’s fruit bits, which are offered in the private label packaging, are already present in countries such as Canada, Switzerland, Germany, France, Australia, Korea, and Norway.
Made with a dehydrated apple basic ingredient and covered with a crunchy layer of fruits, the fruit bits are available in the following flavors: acai, cupuacu, passion fruit, banana, lemon, and plum, all in the traditional versions with organic sugar or no added sugar. There are also special versions with chia, 55% cocoa chocolate, and even cinnamon.
It is worth mentioning that the products from Blue Macaw Flora do not have colorings, flavorings or artificial preservatives. They are cholesterol, trans fat, gluten, and lactose-free and have very low sodium content.
SIAL Paris is a reference in the healthy products industry
Every two years in Paris, SIAL gathers trends and the most innovative solutions from the world food industry. During the fair, it is possible to launch products, meet renowned professionals, seek business opportunities, and discuss the food market’s future.
As in previous editions, this year, many companies focused on the healthiness of their products, meeting a worldwide demand of the population for more-natural, free-of-artificial-ingredients products.
The colors, flavors, and design of Brazil were strongly present in Paris. According to information from ApexBrasil – a company that financially supports and advises Brazilian companies in international business events – the country took up more than 3 thousand square meters at the fair with its products.
In total, SIAL Paris had 7,000 stands and visitors from more than 190 countries.
